pmsox.io beta status
Omar, founder of pmsox.io

Founder-led beta, built from 25 years of accounting systems experience.

Several months of ERP depth, rebuilt as a lightweight reconciliation engine.

I spent months turning 25 years of accounting and ERP internals into an ingestion-and-reconciliation engine for e-commerce and SaaS startups. The premise is simple: a founder's financial truth is scattered across Stripe, banks, Shopify, Amazon, and ad platforms, and nothing reconciles them into one correct ledger.

Founder build note

ERP-grade discipline for startup data.

Having implemented the big ERPs from the inside, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, PeopleSoft, and Dynamics, and as a QuickBooks-certified ProAdvisor with an accountant account, I stripped the double-entry core down to what a startup actually needs and rebuilt it as a lightweight pipeline.

The live beta is running with two design-partner startups: an AI SaaS product and a Shopify e-commerce brand. Plaid bank feeds and Stripe are live today, with accounting rules for charges, refunds, disputes, payouts, and fees mapped into balanced double-entry postings through an accountant-configurable rules engine.

QuickBooks Online is live: every Stripe event becomes a balanced journal entry that a dedicated QBO connector posts straight into QuickBooks, end to end. Bank transactions run through the same path next; Shopify and Amazon follow.

Build stack

Next.js, Python, and Firestore.

Connectors normalize every source into a canonical transaction model.

Stable dedupe keys make retries, webhook replays, and backfills idempotent.

Accounting rules map raw events into balanced debit and credit postings, enforced to balance and never posted twice.

A dedicated QBO connector posts each journal entry into QuickBooks Online, closing the loop into the books.

Dedicated clearing accounts give every settlement and deposit a place to land, so settlement-to-deposit matching is a short build on the existing framework.

Analytics compute from the reconciled ledger, not raw source data.

Ingestion

Every source payload lands in one source-agnostic model before downstream logic touches it.

Rules

Stripe events become correct, balanced journal entries instead of raw rows, then post into QuickBooks Online through a dedicated connector.

Reconciliation

Gross, fees, refunds, payouts, and bank deposits each land in dedicated clearing accounts, so they tie out cleanly and the books stay audit-ready.

The hard part was never the UI. It was making disparate, eventually consistent financial data converge into one idempotent, correct, self-reconciling ledger. That is the gap between a dashboard that draws charts and a system of record a founder, and their auditor, can trust.

Built by a Licensed CPA Who's Been in Your Shoes

pmsox.io was created by a licensed CPA with 25+ years of experience as a CFO, Head of Internal Audit, and ERP implementer across SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, PeopleSoft, and Dynamics. After watching startups, scale-ups, and marketplaces drown in spreadsheets and delayed month-end reconciliations, I distilled the posting-rules architecture of a large ERP into a lightweight layer built for them: an accountant-configurable rules engine that turns every Stripe event into a balanced journal entry and posts it into QuickBooks Online automatically.

We don't replace your accounting system—we feed it correct, balanced, never-duplicated entries and keep every dollar traceable from charge to settlement to bank deposit. No more black boxes. No more "where did that transaction go?"

If you're running a SaaS or eCommerce business, I speak your language—and your accountant's.

The Problem with Traditional Methods

Sales, refunds, disputes, and COGS live in different systems—so you can't trust your numbers or get decision-grade profitability.

You Don't Trust Your Numbers

Revenue that doesn't match Stripe. Margins that change depending on the report. Disputes and refunds that "disappear" from profitability. The dashboard is about confidence, not just visuals.

Disputes Break Your Margin Math

Most dashboards ignore chargebacks or treat them as simple refunds. Product already shipped means COGS is gone—fees plus lost revenue make true margin worse than reported. You don't know your real post-dispute profitability.

No Clean Order-Level Linkage

Struggling to match Stripe disputes to internal orders? Partial refunds, multiple payments, and retries make it worse. Without order-level linkage, you can't see which SKUs are actually causing losses—SKU margin is fiction.

Cohort Analysis Is Missing or Misleading

You want refund rate by cohort, dispute rate by cohort, LTV vs risk. Instead you get top-line cohort revenue with no adjustment for downstream refunds and disputes—so you can't tell which cohorts are good vs toxic.

SKU-Level COGS Isn't Wired Right

COGS data exists but isn't normalized by SKU, tied to refunds and disputes, or time-aligned with revenue. Your "best-selling" SKUs may actually be margin killers.

Manual Work Doesn't Scale

CSV exports, spreadsheet hacks, one-off calculations. You need automated refresh, a model that survives growth, and something that doesn't break every month—not more manual cleanup.

Surface-Level Dashboards Don't Cut It

You need more than pretty charts. If it can't explain how the numbers are built, doesn't understand ecommerce economics, or treats disputes like simple refunds—it't not decision-grade.

No Early Warning on Bad Cohorts or SKUs

By the time you see which customer segments or products are margin killers, it's too late. You need signals that flag toxic cohorts and loss-making SKUs before they scale.

AMAZON FBA

Amazon Settlement & P&L Chaos

Reconciling Amazon settlements—including the end-of-month split—building P&L and Balance Sheet from bank statements, Seller Central reports, and SKU-level COGS from scratch turns into a last-minute, consultant-heavy nightmare.

Our Solution

Not just a dashboard—correct unit economics, decision-grade profitability, and early warning signals for bad cohorts, SKUs, and channels. So you can trust your numbers.

Decision-Grade Profitability

We automate the linkage between Stripe, orders, refunds, and disputes—so margins and cohort analysis reflect reality. No surface-level visuals; we understand ecommerce economics and how the numbers are built.
